Netbook is probably one of the gadgets anymore. Everyone wants to have one. But why netbook? Why not the regular size laptop? What is the difference between the standard size netbook and a laptop? Do I really need a netbook or a normal laptop? These are questions you should ask before buying a netbook.
The main use of a netbook is for web browsing and email. For activities that require considerable processing power and memory space, such as watching HD movies or playing 3D games. It relies heavily on Internet access remote applications on the web. As a result, netbook is designed to be different from the notebook size usually several ways.
Firstly, netbook is small and portable. While the first netbook on the market that is only 8.9 inches, the size of today's most popular netbook is 10.1 inches. There are a couple of new models of netbooks coming to 11.6 or 12 inches, but they are not so frequent at this time.
Secondly, netbooks have less processing power compared with a normal notebook. Remember that your goal is mainly Internet access and not for activities requiring heavy computer skills. The anti-virus software on the Acer Aspire One 11.6 "?
Hello everyone, I just bought an Acer Aspire One, 11.6 "version. It is Edition comes with Windows XP Home Edition, McAfee antivirus more active. Now, I noticed that McAfee is more than 180 MB application a bit heavy I think … I was wondering what other antivirus / firewall that could be installed on the netbook ensure that protection and still function properly. AVG has been thought. But then, can I uninstall McAfee activation or I can keep for the future? If someone has installed a different antivirus / firewall please know me. I fear that the material was meant to be used with the software by default, I just need to that it is not true:):) Thank you all!
I finally uninstall McAfee and install AVG. The trick with McAfee is that if you activate, and you simply let your subscription to the short, will bug you til you uninstall every second anyway.
