Acer Aspire one D150 Netbook (DE)

If you've started looking to improve its netbook RAM 2 GB, you've probably looked around on some forums and read user comments and some who are more confused now than when I started.

You may have seen terms like Credit Lyonnais, 667 or 800 MHz ECC and it does not ask this kind of memory you need. However, these figures are all very important, and only some are compatible with your netbook. The best-selling and highest rated 2 GB of memory netbook is crucial and I'll stick to deal with this particular brand, but that goes for all brands.

The first thing you need to know is that almost all modern laptops (and 95% of them as Asus, Acer, etc.) use the Atom processor, which has a bus speed 667 front-side (for the N280, the N270 is 533). That memory is Journey through the processor to use. This tells us that even if you are listed memory at 800MHz it will not help anything, because after use, the computer must underclock to 667 (or 533) MHz and some teams are not like that.

Another important thing to ensure that the RAM you see is non-ECC, and also, of course, 200-pin SO-DIMM. This essentially means that will fit your laptop or netbook.

The third thing that we must address is Cl, CS, or latency. This crucially on the speed of the RAM can operate, or time delay. The more latency cs better. There are 2 types of RAM Crucial sale they may see if you look up and it is 800 MHz with a cl = 6, while the other is a 667 with cl = 5.

Their prices are just a few dollars and also the most People thought 800 it is faster, but in reality, after the team underclock to 667 then the second is faster because it cs is less latency. That's what I went with and I had no problem, and I would say at least a speed of 50% and applications.

Now that what kind of RAM to get here is a tutorial on how to install.

Step 1: get the right RAM. GRIP mainly 2GB 667MHz stick $ 30 for Amazon.

Step 2: Turn off your computer and remove the battery.

Step 3: Remove the entry of memory (the Mine was a little picture one ram stick at the door).

Step 4: Press 2 small metal tabs away from the memory stick

This will cause the memory device for pop-up:

Step 5: Remove and replace 1 GB Memory Stick with 2GB sticks. Make sure the pins are line (going in one direction). The label is crucial in the background.

Step 6: RAM Push down the metal, click on clips, replace the cover, reinsert the battery and boot your computer. If you use XP then recognize self-RAM and no action is needed.

Step 7: Once the computer is booted hit (Windows key + Break) to open the Properties box system and make sure it recognizes the new memory.

If so then you're done, if you do not have to restart, while repeatedly hitting F8 to open the BIOS and select the new RAM in the menu to make the computer recognizes it. Enjoy.
