The ZV6000 an affordable alternative for those looking for performance and value. The ZV6000 offers an AMD 64 with 512 KB of RAM, combined offering much processing power to surf the Web or perform a multitude of programs.
In fact, we were able to download movies, listening music and management of our photo editing software without any problems. We like the 15.4 inches wide, which is available only in contrast instead of the standard HP BrightView technology, but our testers hardly noticed a difference in the use of our applications. The ZV6000 comes standard with Windows XP Pro, a 40-gig hard drive 8x DVD RW.
In terms of ergonomics, find the keyboard to be well placed and easy to write without the wrist fatigue. For convenience our testers opted for an external mouse, but if space is a consideration that the touchpad is more than enough. The ZV6000 laptop case a lasting gray plastic, high density and a little over 6 pounds can easily transport your favorite coffee. In addition, there are USB ports, Express54 PCMCIA slots and along the side of the computer for convenience. The battery life on the ZV6000 is about 3 to 4 hours depending on if the reader DVD is in use.
