A recent study by IDC senior analyst has studied the spending habits of 33.1 million U.S. households with home offices. ((It was believed that there were 25 million Office of U.S. origin. Obviously, there is a growing trend).
The study revealed some interesting way, some obvious, others not so obvious.
Not surprisingly, home owners tend Office to be technologically more savvy than non-Home Office
homes. The office owners are more likely to upgrade their existing equipment or add additional equipment for the home.
But desktop PCs are buying? No more. 56% are buying laptops usually with read and write CDs and DVDs. People tend to buy the "Slim and Light" models.
The second largest category People is fully charged laptops up to 33% sales office home because of its multimedia capabilities and displays greatest.
The least popular was the category of ultra-portable, which often excludes an optical drive as a way to save space and to keep prices low.
Owners of office are more interested in speed and brand are the price and processor speed is more important than price in the study.
Nearly 80% were from Dell customers, but a huge 20% followed by the store.
Our own study found the house in Internet2yourdoor Acer, Toshiba and HP Compaq topped the list, Acer beat everyone (in fact sold last year Toshiba Acer) on the market, not only in our store, but all the world. This is not a surprise (for us) and probably 75% of our own staff Acer purchased via our own shop and are very happy with it. Although the previous study, confirmed that the price is not a factor, our experience is that price is a factor that Acer tends to be less expensive, offering more performance for the money of the best known brands. But sales of HP Compaq and Toshiba (and several other brands) is great in our online store.
Lenovo still sells pretty well and the price seems to be a factor (as is the processor speed on our own experience with the sales of phones.
Although the element of wireless capabilities to non-ability Wireless is not mentioned in the previous study, it seems most customers tend to consider that the wireless standard.
The IDC study showed that in the United States last May, it sold more mobile office for the first time in the history of computer sales in this country.
This could easily be a reflection of the growing popularity of home offices. Most owners prefer laptop computer via the office now.
Thus, the question remains: can a home-office is "without a desktop PC? Obviously. It really seems to be a matter of style. Many home offices of both. The answer, of course, is that there is no right or poor (computer-wise) to operate a home office. It's just that you prefer.
Does my Acer Aspire 4720 is compatible for Windows 7?
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5450@1.66GHz 1.67 GHz 120 GB HDD 1 GB DDR2 32-bit No changes were made hardware. It still has all original parts, runs Windows Vista Home Premium. I wonder if I can do an installation clean Windows 7 in it, it will be compatible with their specifications?
Add more RAM.
