MSI or Micro-Star International MSI Wind (standing for the Wi-Fi device), and candidate for the Asus Eee PC 900, and the pioneer of a 10-netbook inches. This is based on many old vices like Asus keyboard larger and faster Intel Atom. The extra weight in version 6 of the cell is remarkable 1.2 kilograms, not as the HP 2133 Mini-Note. It also affects the shelves in a fantastic RRP Â £ 320 which corresponds to the smaller Asus Eee PC 901 – our # 1 mini laptop.
The MSI Wind is not the metallic finish of the HP Mini-Note or the fear factor of an apple, but it is a very mobile pleasant. Soft curves, clean interface, great screen and a variety of colors, the empire "Noble Red ',' White Angel 'Pink Wind 'Black Romantic',''and 'love'.
The large keyboard is a great advantage, with plenty of space between keys. This is not as good as the HP 2133 Mini-Note which has 92% of a full size keyboard and the Fn key is in the bottom left of the screen is frustrating for users Ctrl key.
The 10-inch anti-glare screen is another advantage, even if it is larger than the 8.9-models inches as the Asus Eee PC 901 or Acer Aspire One, which represents excellent value for money. It comes with a resolution of 1024×600, which is not surprising but good enough to work.
The touchpad, however, is unnecessarily small, only 54 mm in diameter. Compared with the keyboard, seems misplaced. Battery life is poor with a 3 cell battery, and intensive use, which would have difficulty working for over 2 hours. The 6-battery cell is available (as in the new Eee PC), although the 3-cell battery to keep the weight of an order of a kilogram.
With the addition an adapter and a larger battery, the Wind netbook, or "MSI Wind Notebook," as they like to call value is very good value for money. Available in the same price as the smaller 8.9-inch Eee PC 901, but with the screen size of the Eee PC 1000 is a true competitor on the market netbook.
