"Safe to Remove Hardware" when you unplug the AC adapter?
Hello, I have a really annoying problem here. Whenever I disconnect the power cord on my computer (HP Compaq 6530b) appears a message saying that broadband Netlink devices Gigabit Ethernet can be safely removed. The appears when I plug the cable – it says the device is ready. It is the exact behavior that has a USB device but we are talking about Power Adapter By … I use Vista, but the case with XP and with another model as previously (HP Compaq 6730b). If anyone knows what the whole story is about very appreciate any suggestion or answer. Thank you in advance
It is very strange that he is ready to have removed the NIC, have you installed the appropriate drivers for this? Come to think .. I had a similar problem with a DVD drive from HP, who does not read DVD / CD, but when I removed them told me he was safe to delete. This just look for new drivers for it (on Google) and if all else fails, check the support website for Netlink. It is difficult to define a problem like this, so I'm limited as to amount of help you can give. However, try them, and if nothing works, go ask HP.
