System Restore can not find the files, but still occupies the C drive?

Hello, recently I have a Packard Bell Restore after a virus has been very persistent in my PC. This has solved the problem and now everything runs smoothly. However, a window pop-up told me my personal files should be in My Documents folder, which are not. That is, as I never expected to catch again. However, my computer, it is still occupied 30 GB Drive C occupied by these files. They do not seem to be anywhere. How do I recover my files not more … Thank you or save space? Phil
