Stuck between 2 PC's – please can you help?
I am looking for 2 different PCs, if you please can you help me decide what is best: OPTION 1: AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core X2 5000 + ASUS M2A-VM Motherboard PCI-E VGA (Dual DVI) 500 2.0 GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (with 16MB cache), 4GB of DDR2 RAM Lightscribe 20 speed DVDRW ATI Radeon X1250 Graphics Card (with 1GB HyperMemory) 22 "TFT (with 5ms response time) …….. all for £ 399 (for One Company Ltd. advertising on Ebay UK) —– —– o Option 2: Packard Bell iStart 2314 Intel Dual Core E2160 (1.8 GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1GB Cache) 2GB RAM 250GB HDD 256 MB nVidia GeForce 7050 Graphics Multi-Format Dual Layer DVD ± RW LG 22 "Widescreen TFT Monitor (response rate of 2ms) …….. all for £ 429 (my local PC World Store) Help Please I pull my leg over this decision! Personally, I go for option 1, the price is lower, and the specification is higher. Normally, I'm biased towards Nvidia and Intel, as it tends to be one of the best combinations, however, Option 2 is likely to be exceeded in this case by the first PC, and the price of the first is also slightly cheaper. 429 pounds is a lot to pay for the second option, but then you pay a premium in PC World, I'd say go for option 1. Alternatively, you can solve this problem with buying a PC for you for much less money, geniunely if you're stuck with it. I recently purchased a PC higher specification about the same price for Specialist. Co.uk PC
