Blu-ray would be a good option for me?

I've been thinking about buying a PS3 to play Blu-ray with. I have a 23-inch Samsung HDTV in my bedroom. I love watching movies and are driven by the quality of Blu Ray is seen playing in stores like Best Buy. However, I read that the difference between DVD and Blu-ray is only visible in TV 42 inches and larger. Some truth to that? Would it be worth or I just go with the DVD conversion I witch upward so so does a job? Thanks

There is no absolute size in which Blu-ray is worth and below which it is not. It is a continuous process of "great" at 1080p and 50 "to" What is all this fuss "to 20" 720p. You are close to this last point, but you will to decide whether it is worth any benefit (you can always take a DVD to a store and compare with a Blu-ray (Blu-ray player is also a DVD upconverter) on a TV of the same or similar to yours (size, resolution, viewing distance … nothing like a real test to help decide) Personally, if I were a student with a 23 "HDTV would be tempted to look at things from the perspective of where I put my limited funds to get the best bang for the buck. On that basis, I suspect they would be looking more toward the audio side of my computer or try to get a small benefit in the end video. But perhaps you have extra money (I did not, so maybe I'm somewhat biased). Today only Blu-ray is worth buying the PS3. Personally I am waiting to see if Blu-ray DVD falling prices. There are $ 10 – $ 25 premium over preview DVD to me. I converted movies on my computer (some upconverters are better than others) are fine. But ultimately it is that their priorities.
