Samsung LCD HDTV 42-inch vertical line problem?
Half the screen has vertical lines through it from top to bottom, i reset all menu settings, and try switching on and off the shop mode, but nothing seems to work. I switched between sources and are still there. Has anyone else had this problem or know if this means that the TV is broken or I can to fix it.
its called sacked. the lower end of samsungs TV has had this problem, not often, but it happens. so that only ended with a bad roll of the dice. no big deal if its status within 30 days and then you can return to the shop. if within a year then you have to call Samsung and they'll fix it. if more than a year since you bought it and still has not bought a warranty extended …… well then your screwed. its going to cost houndreds of dollars to get fixed. good luck!
