Connecting Pc to HDTV with HDMI to DVI cable.? So I have the cable connected and the computer was able to detect my Samsung TV and I think you have to do is go to my video card control panel and no multi-display configuration. I've tried almost everything to clone Dualview and restart my pc each time and still no luck when I change my settings for HDMI TV. I can not change because the HDMI option on my TV does not turn white and I am sure what I did was correct. Can anyone help me please.
Your PC does not support dual displays. Disconnect the VGA screen. Power PC to TV connection to TV via DVI to HDMI. Turn on the TV reboot the PC. Do you see the boot screen on TV? Yes, that's a good sign. No? From your PC can be analog DVI only, which is not compatible with all TVs.
