I just purchased a Samsung LCD 550 (Series 5). Can I get a better picture when im watching my cable channels?
I have DIRECTV and since I just bought i only have my HDTV DVR DIRECTV receiver. I know I would have the HD DVR or HD receiver and programming for the best possible picture on my TV. What my question is how the image is now without the HD receiver doesn't look that good. I know it used to look great but shouldn't it look a little bit better than it would on a TV normal. It seems as though watching a pirate movie when Im watching a movie on TNT. I know I need to spend $ 200 on the HD DVR, but not now. Is there any way to get a cable at the moment so it looks decent? or I'm getting the cables correctly? Please need help. Any serious answer would be appreciated. PS all that is my connection to the DIRECTV HDTV receiver is the monster of gold and buy coaxial cable. thanks.
