Tell me about the LED DLP technology, as used in the new series of Samsung HDTV.?
From what I understand, which replaces the need for both lamps and colorwheel, which reduces the overall sound all the brands and eliminates the need for lamp replacement as the TV ages. Is this too good to be truth? What are the disadvantages, if any? That's good to know, thanks! Looking specifically at the LEDs, however, so will never lamp replacement necessary. All bits of information are still useful!
The main disadvantage is that these LEDs are not very bright. In general, rear projection TVs have a much better in a dark room. Outside viewing angle is not so great either. These days, the plasma and 10 new bit LCDs can display more colors usually 8-bit DLP. In general, LED DLP rear projection TV are very close in price range with the plasma, and I would buy a plasma if I could pay the difference.
