Samsung and Toshiba TV?

I will buy a new TV, but not sure what will be best for me. It is the Toshiba 47 "1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV for $ 1499.99. And there is Samsung 52 "1080p LCD HDTV for $ 1599.97. These two are in my price range and size you prefer. What is best? So although the Samsung does not have the 240Hz is even better? I ask this because these are the 2 on sale for what is either .. Hmm .. Thank you very much for your answers and help me!

Both look good. I have a 37 "Toshiba Regza and a 32" Samsung. Although generally the design of Samsung televisions Toshiba best menus and scaling options (changing the unparalleled image to remove black bar, etc..) Both the quality of the brands are good. I would look at the size and characteristics and see how they fit your needs. The larger is generally better than 52 "will be very heavy, and if you ever have to move to another room or another medium TV may be too large. Also, take into consideration the size room. For small and medium-sized rooms bigger TV can actually feel quite overwhelming, and indeed, it is easier to see as ugly artifacts (blocks, Fuzzies, etc), including HDTV video. If you have an average size small rooms which could even think of a 46 "or 42" and save some money to put in a nice sound system or buy a Blu-ray. Good luck!
