I am buying a HDTV for the family room. 32 council "big enough? Would be appreciated?
I about to buy a TV for my family because I have a cousin and was wondering if I should get a 32 "or 37" for the family room. The room is not too the sofa is big and is about 8-9 feet from the TV. I was thinking of getting this Samsung LN37A450-37-inch-720p But I'm not sure whether you will regret getting the 450 model instead of the new 550 Samsung LN37A550 What is 1080p, while the 450 is only 720p Should I pay more for the new model since it offers higher resolution? Advice a day would be greatly appreciated.

From personal experience, I would say a 42 "to 46" is correct, and 37 "is borderline too small. I have a 50" at 9.75 meters and me wish I could get a foot or two back for better viewing. In 37 ", 42" or 46 "in my humble opinion, his best bet, dollar per dollar, for the best performance and reliability, is the Panasonic Viera plasma! However, if for some reason you need an LCD, the best mark of 37 " up, also at the level of performance and reliability, Sony followed by Toshiba and Sharp and Samsung. Good hunting!
