Probably. If your cable co. are using Motorola and Scientific Atlanta set top boxes, most of them will have an HDMI output so you only need an HDMI cable. If the set top box is an old model, you may have a DVI output, which is the same to HDMI, but without the digital audio. You have to use a digital audio (SPDIF) type audio cable with a DVI-HDMI cable. The specifications for HDMI are compatible whatvever TV and STB specification have, negotiate and work very well.
