Screen is too big for my HD monitor?

Help me, I just got my 23''Samsung HDTV Monitor and the screen is too large for the monitor, I tried all the resolutions can click reinstall my video card everything installed in the display of the CD (except MagicTune cause that says my computer is not compatible which is rare). Plugged-in, plugged out all the strings … Im running on Windows XP SP3 Inno3D GeForce 9500GT PCI 1gig Core 2 Duo Im thinking these are the essential elements to make a working monitor. What should I do? I really need help. I havent tried changing the operating system, think it should? * 19 minutes * – 4 days to respond. The monitor running a 16:9 aspect ratio, which means? I tried all resolutions on the team i could find. Help me please.

There are a couple of different cables you can use to connect a computer to an HDTV. Here is the list in the order you want, but none would work. 1) Cable (HDMI Home Theater Cable) 2) DVI (digital monitor cable) 3) VGA (blue wire analog monitor) If video card connects to the TV and set the TV to the correct input, just change the settings in resulution computer screen control panel. It should be set to 1920×1080 (exactly that). If you like in the U.S., must be set to 60 Hz If you live in Europe, 50 Hz His video card has more than enough power for driving the TV as a display. If you do not have specific video mode available as an option, connect the TV to the PC and reboot. It should re-detect TV as a monitor and get all the correct video modes. If not, you may need to try to manually specify video modes acceptable to the monitor (TV). It should be 1920×1080 for a full HD monitor yet.
