New 46inch Samsung 720p DLP is grainy … How can I fix this???
I just purchased a Samsung DLP TV last week and put the other day. It is a 46inch 720p. It is connected to regular cable (Charter Communications). We have the Monster brand cables to connect the cable to your TV (yellow, red, blue if cables that matter). We also have a S-Video connection and cable TV. The TV is grainy, I can not imagine that my new TV looks worse than a standard way of "old" 32 ". Is this something I just have to deal? My cable company offers only a small part of my current HDTV channels .. so there is no point to subscribe to that. I want to see the NBC and HBO, and we have every aspect of quality. Make the monster cables color matters? What should I do to get a clear picture that is comparable or better than my old 32 inch … and honestly, I would expect better … otherwise, why bother to spend the money on the television as an expensive whim. Thanks for any input
Check all connections and look around for any type of electronic device that runs high power which is near the TV or running on the same outlet. The grainy image could be the result of interrupting the signal noise. Also might want to consider purchasing a filter strip to clean the power going to your TV. Letter calls to come and run a line quality to see if grainy image could be the result of poor signal quality. CRT TV not generally tend to be slightly grainy and generally do not produce as clear a picture like his old tube TV. This is most evident in the observation of basic cable. The HD channels but will look much better.
